Perangkat Teknologi Super Spektakuler dari CES 2014

Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2014, menjadi ajang ‘pamer’ perangkat teknologi terbaru oleh setiap perusahaan teknologi dunia. Meski di beberapa wilayah Amerika Serikat sedang dilanda bencana badai salju, namun peristiwa tersebut tidak mengurangi kemeriahaan perhelatan teknologi tahunan itu.

Perusahaan-perusahaan teknologi terkemuka seakan berlomba menampilkan produk-produk yang spektakuler, beberapa dari produk tersebut bahkan belum pernah rilis di pasaran.

Apa saja produk-produk spektakuler tersebut? simak foto-fotonya di bawah ini :

Joe Stinziano, Wakil Presiden Eksekutif Samsung Electronics America memperkenalkan sebuah TV UHD 105 inci.

Goji Smart Lock, sebuah kunci gerendel yang unik, turut dipajang pada acara CES. Alat ini memiliki fitur-fitur smartphone seperti memotret atau mengirim gambar real-time ke pemilik rumah dari siapa saja yang mengaktifkan kunci.

LG juga turut memamerkan TV OLED melengkung 4K miliknya.

 Tampak pengunjung melihat TV LED Full HD 90 inci Aquos dari Sharp, harga yang ditawarkan sebesar USD 10 ribu.

Sony memajang smartphone miliknya pada display yang penuh dengan percikan air. Smartphone tersebut adalah smartphone tahan air.

Pengunjung sedang melihat pada mesin cuci dan pengering dari Samsung Electronics.

Pada ajang CES kali ini, Sony juga tak lupa memamerkan wearable device miliknya. Sebuah smartwatch yang dijual seharga USD 199.

LG Nexus 5 Ponsel Google Generasi Ke Lima

Nexus 5 merupakan salah satu produk yang kehadirannya dinantikan oleh banyak penggemar teknologi smartphone, khususnya pecinta Android.

Di samping karena smartphone ini merupakan produk resmi Google, seperti tradisi sebelumnya Google Phone selalu menandai kehadiran update "besar" untuk sistem operasi Android.
Dan kali ini, Nexus 5 mengenalkan pasar tanah air dengan versi terkini Android yaitu KitKat.

Jika dibandingkan dengan spesifikasi perangkat keras yang dimilkinya, desain fisik Nexus 5 boleh dikatakan tampil "low-profile".
Tidak tampak bentukan atau aksen yang benar-benar menarik perhatian.

Hanya logo nexus yang terpampang besar di sisi belakang, dan area lensa kamera yang dilindungi oleh pelapis kaca yang jauh lebih besar dari ukuran mata lensa kamera sendiri.
Area lensa ini didesain sedikit menonjol, membuatnya rentan tergores ketika pengguna sering meletakkannya pada permukaan keras dan kasar.

Selain bahan plastik kesat di sisi belakang yang membuat ponsel ini terasa tidak licin di genggaman, LG memilih menggunakan material yang tidak umum pada sebuah ponsel yaitu bahan ceramic untuk tombol power/lock di sisi kanan dan tombol pengatur volume di sisi kanan.
Tray kartu SIM terletak tepat di bawah tombol power/ lock, dan pengguna memerlukan pin ejector untuk mengeluarkannya.
